The South of England Regional Programming Languages Seminar returns for its twentieth meeting — a free, informal gathering for anyone with a professional or academic interest in the design, semantics, and implementation of programming languages.
S-REPLS is a regular, informal meeting for anyone in the South of England with a professional interest — academic or commercial — in programming language theory, semantics, and implementation. It moves around the region from host to host and is always free to attend.
For our twentieth edition, S-REPLS comes to Royal Holloway, University of London, hosted by the Department of Computing, Security and Mathematics, and supported by the EPSRC-funded project INDIMO.
The programme for S-REPLS 20 has not yet been finalised. As always, talks can cover any aspect of programming language theory, design, or implementation. PhD students and first-time speakers are welcome, as are talks on work in progress.
PhD students, postdocs, academics and industry researchers are all welcome to offer a talk.
Slots are typically 20–30 minutes including questions; shorter talks can also be accommodated.
Talks need not present finished results — work in progress is a normal part of the programme.

As with every S-REPLS meeting, attendance is free. The full programme will be published here once talks are confirmed — in the meantime, please register your interest in attending so we can plan numbers.
